I'm creating this blog to chronicle my hip replacement surgery. since both must be done, i'll start with the left one and then move on to the right, right now it is Halloween and i am preparing to spend 4 days in the hospital and getting everything organized and packing what i have to take.
crutches, ted stockings, reacher, shoe horn, raised toilet seat, long sponge, green cards for having donated blood, word search book, charged ipod, people magazine, medications i have to take, toiletries, short dressing gown(whatever that is i've got a bathrobe).
i think i have everything... and a BIG BIG case of nerves! i'm hoping that after 4 c-sections an a hysterectomy, that this pain won't be any worse than that... if it's not, i think i can handle it! more later...
